About The Event

Laguna Canyon Conservancy along with other supporting organizations are presenting this very special program.  There is NO COST to attend and light refreshments will be available.

Laguna Beach and the Greenbelt was accepted for the Historic American Landscape program by the National Park Service in 2017 and the documentation is now held in the Library of Congress. Laguna Beach is the only entire city in the United States to have been recognized as a Historic American Landscape.

The 2025 edition of Laguna Beach and the Greenbelt Celebrating a Treasured Historic American Landscape will be released that evening.

Four of the authors will present:  Tom Lamb (Historic American Landscape Program), Ann Christoph (landscape and history), Eric Jessen (art and early artists), Bob Borthwick (preservation of Aliso Creek and the Greenbelt).
